When people ask me how I came to spend my summer photographing Tag Rugby, I generally always laugh and say 'I don't know how I got here'. I've yet to play a game, but I was happy to try photographing something different. I've come to realise that Tag Rugby is both incredibly fun to capture with a camera and just like most other sports: A group of people coming together to create a tight-knit community that love their sport. Since Dublin has moved back into level three, Tag Rugby has been put to a halt again. For anyone missing their weekly game, I thought I'd put together a collection of some of my favourite photos from over the summer league.
Thanks to all the lovely players who were incredibly friendly and kind to this fly on the wall (or pitch) for the season and to ITRA! Hopefully, see you all soon.
